How do I switch my subscription to a weekly or monthly plan?

If you are currently on a 7-day free trial, you will be charged at the end of the trial for an annual subscription (unless you cancel prior to the charge using the instructions here). That said, if you'd prefer to be on a weekly or monthly plan, you can switch from your iPhone settings:

  • Open the "Settings" app
  • Tap your name, then tap "Subscriptions"
  • Tap the name of the subscription that you want to change
  • Tap "See All Plans," then follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase

If you've already purchased an annual subscription via the iOSΒ App Store and want to change it to the weekly or monthly plan, you'll need to cancel and then follow the steps to obtain a refund here. Please note that Opal does not collect your credit card information when you purchase through the App Store, so we are unable to provide refunds. If you would like a refund, please contact the App Store directly to request one. Once you've received a refund, you can resubscribe to a monthly or weekly plan using the instructions above.
